IT WILL BE OKAY

Here’s to all the men and women who have been deeply broken… by people, by circumstances, by fate. I am telling you, it’s painful now but everything will be okay.   People open up to me… I listen… I empathize and I pray for them.  It’s hard, for sure! I’ve been there too. I know the feeling of wanting to give up, of losing hope, of crumbling down. Why are these things happening? I don’t deserve this! I’ve been a good person.. WHY? I asked these questions too… and honestly, I still don’t have an answer up to this moment. Because we can really never know! All we can do now is to go on with the waves of life and have faith that things will get better. So cry! Go on! Show your emotions! But don’t you ever give up. If you’re afraid, sad and angry, it’s okay… do it anyway… because things are fucked up anyways, you’ve nothing to lose and the least that we want is to have regrets. This is the time to just be brave and fight even though things are not getting better. Live life day b...

NEW LASEMA SPA AND JIMJILBANG

WE NEEDED A DAY OFF! We needed to soak in hot jacuzzi, get a Swedish massage and eat noodles! Got all these in Lasema Spa and Jimjilbang! We were so stressed that we got the Lasema Package to fully enjoy our stay! The place is just in Makati, it's clean and well sanitized, we just got trouble looking for a parking space because theirs was full when we got there nevertheless, there were still available spaces to park around the area. Just pay around P100.00. So first, you will need to wait at the lobby and pay. Then you'll be given clothes and towels to use before you get inside. As you enter, you'll immediately see a locker room. In fairness, it's clean! Note that you should remove your underwear. (I suggest you also bring another set of undies). The first door you'll see inside the locker room is the shower and jacuzzi area where everyone is required to be naked... yes bare! TANGLED

Sometimes, it’s necessary to cut it, break it and get back to perspective.  Imagine yourself weaving and suddenly a tangled string. Of course the first courses of action is to try to fix and find ways to untangle it until it goes back to its functional form. However, some tangles can get too complicated and tight. It would take you time, energy and effort to fix it this time and you have no choice but to cut it and jut start with a new thread so you can continue weaving.  Sometimes we think holding on is healthy and necessary but maybe what we really need is rest, space, freedom, time to reflect - are we on track on our journey to becoming the person we wish to be? We may be in need of new perspectives because all along we have been revolving in the same circle and never had that opportunity to grow and explore. We become contented with what is currently in front of us, we think we are happy, we think we can control our own lives - NO WE CAN'T! Yes, we make our own decisions...

2020 - Dealing with Anxiety

Hi guys,  This is me restarting my own blog. It's October 13, 2020 and I am currently on leave from work starting today until October 16, 2020. Why? because I just had a mental breakdown :( I hate to admit it but yes, I am suffering from anxiety and I know a lot of people are experiencing the same. It's not actually surprising given our current situation - COVID19, incompetent government, stress from everywhere, fear and all the abnormalities.. at some point even the strongest ones will have to cry and release the stress. I know I could've prevented this from happening. I thought making myself busy at work would make me forget all these stressors until my work became my primary stressor and here I am stuck at home, writing this blog, releasing my thoughts and hoping I could also shed some light to people who are experiencing the same.  So what should we do? 1.
